Global head of environment with VINCI since August 2019, Isabelle Spiegel is in charge of implementing the Group’s Environmental Ambition within all entities (VINCI Construction, VINCI Energies, VINCI Concessions, VINCI Autoroutes and VINCI Immobilier). She has 23 years of experience in environment and sustainability, both in consulting and in operational management. Engineer, graduated from the “Mines” French high school of Douai and the Technical University of Berlin, and having started her career in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Isabelle Spiegel has for nearly 15 years advised the clients of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), in particular on Environmental compliance audits, reviews of environmental liabilities, due diligence carried out in the context of transactions, Sustainable Development strategy or responsible product strategy. She spent 2 years in China, developing the Climate Change and Social Responsibility business of PwC. Isabelle has led international working groups leading to WBCSD (World Business Council for Sustainable Development) publications on environmental impacts in the chemical sector and well as real estate and construction. Having joined Arcadis in 2015, Isabelle Spiegel headed the environment activities there in France, leading the expert teams in Polluted Sites and Soils and in regulatory studies. She was also in charge of the development of new service offers integrating the challenges of Sustainable Development, within the Innovation and Transformation unit of the Europe, England and Middle East region.
