Description
Alexandra Nowak works mainly on energy-related issues.
Before joining De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés, she worked as a Programme Specialist for the US Department of Energy (DOE) in the Paris office of the US Permanent Delegation to the OECD for nearly 8 years. She was seconded to the International Energy Agency to lead an intergovernmental initiative on the promotion of women in renewable energy professions.
Previously she worked in the audiovisual field for 11 years in the United States, notably in legal departments of production companies and a law firm.
She has written articles for the Safe Planet blog, the United Nations Campaign on Liability for Chemical Production and Hazardous Waste, following the writing of his dissertation on the ecological management of waste electrical and electronic equipment. Alexandra is the Chair of a Working Group on Exit from Intensive Animal Husbandry addressing animal welfare and impacts on the environment and health.
She’s Franco-American.
